We believe in lifelong learning.

Though I’ve been officially homeschooling since 2009, in reality, I’ve been teaching my children since they were born.

Homeschooling allowed us to find our path together. We’ve tried planned programs like Teach4Learning and groups like Classical Conversations. We participated in organically grown coops, some for single subjects, others for a more extensive range of classes, park days, creek schooling, Charlotte Mason, Sonlight, one-day academies, and all sorts of camps.

“My homeschool philosophy is to choose the best education that fits your family situation at the time – sometimes that is homeschooling, traditional school, or a hybrid.”

Throughout our lives, we found that even if we aren’t officially “in school,” we are always learning. From discovering new ways to work with my children’s learning disabilities to my own continuing education, I find that I’m always learning.

I bring my experience as a teacher, administrator, and learning style advocate to help us find what is meaningful and valuable to our learning journey.
